I decided to take the idea of fresh and connect that to nature. I took out the bright green color in the original ad and replaced it with more of a forest green along with changing the background to a worn wooden table and a forest. I chose this to accomplish the idea of a fresh gift coming from nature. I made the slogan the “hero of the page” along with making the product much larger. I also put the product information under both the slogan and the product as to put the most important information in order as if it were a sentence.
I chose this novelty type face because I felt it had a cheerful and whimsical aspect to it that conveyed the adjective happy. I also chose this font because the x-height felt tall. I liked this about the type because it went with the shape I put the text in which was a smile.
This is the post excerpt.
Hello! I am Alexandra Heuer and this is my blog. A little bit about me is that I grew up in the lively city of New Orleans my whole life. I went to an all girls high school called Louise S. Mcgehee where they taught me everything I know about reading, writing and being an open minded independent thinker. I am currently studying at LSU in the Mass Communications program with a focus in Public Relations. To give you a reference of what I look like I have attached a picture.
